DAY 1 AIRPORT / PINNAWALA / KANDY

En Route from the Airport visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and see baby jumbos wondering around their foster home, being bottle fed and bathed by their human foster fathers. This is the home to more than 100 elephant orphans and the most popular elephant attraction where you will see so many elephants at such close vicinity.
Pinnawala is about 75km from Colombo towards Kandy and and the Orphanage is open from 8.30 am to 5.45 pm. You can interact with the elephants during their regulated feeding and bathing times.

DAY 2 KANDY

Proceed to the last royal capital of Sri Lanka which is a major tourist destination. The city is rich in cultural diversity and has plenty of iteneries to offer such as visits to ancient temples, cultaral performances and dance shows , shopping & hand crafts etc. The distance from Pinnawala to Kandy is about 50 km ( Approx 1.40 hours from Pinnawala )
- Kandy City Tour
- Temple of the Sacred Tooth – The main attraction of the city and the most sacred temple where one of Buddha’s tooth is being kept. A dress code applies for entering the temple.
- The Royal Botanical Gardens – This was once a pleasure garden of a Kandyan Queen , a beautiful park with tropical foliage which is located near the Mahaweli River.
- Cultural & Dance Show – Kandy Cultural & dance show is a great way to spend the evening in Kandy. As many as 12 different folk and traditional dances are performed by Kandy lake club dance troop within the span of one hour.
- Arts & Crafts – Kandy is synonymous with arts and crafts of Sri Lanka than anywhere else in the country. Kandy is probably the best place to buy most of the handicrafts produced in Sri Lanka because there are number of shops catering to the tourists. Tourists could watch local crafts coming into life at the At the Kandyan Art Association.

DAY 3 KANDY / NUWARAELIYA
- Proceed to Nuwara Eliya after Breakfast

Situated at around 2000m above sea level and having wonderful mountain panoramas surround the wide valley, into which fall many lovely but icy waterfalls Nuwara Eliya is the heart of Sri Lanka. Surrounded by lush tea plantations Nuwara Eliya is the main hill resort of Sri Lanka and the heart of the tea industry. Nuwara Eliya offers many activities for tourists including visits to tea plantations golfing, horse riding, boating, hiking and of course exploring the beauty of the landscaped gardens, waterfalls and plateaus.
- En Route visit a Tea plantation & Factory
En Route to Nuwara Eliya pay a visit to a wonderful Tea Plantation and Tea Factory, where you can also enjoy a freshly brewed FREE cup of ceylon tea. The factory are open for visitors which also have sales outlets where you can purchase premium ceylon tea which is not available in the market.
- En Route visit Ramboda Falls / Lunch at Ramboda Falls view point
Enjoy beautiful views of nature’s own wonderful creations ..Ramboda falls and the surrounding mountains while you have your lunch at “Tea Bush Hotel”. A famous view point which should not be missed if you are visiting Nuwara Eliya

DAY 4 NUWARA ELIYA / COLOMBO
- Enjoy a scenic boat ride in Lake Gregory, Horse Riding
- Visit to Kithulgala ( Optional )
